IFOGRAPHIC
Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Ifographic (“we”) publishes educational videos on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. This policy covers this website and the private publishing tool we use to upload our own videos to our own accounts (the “Ifographic publisher”).
Visitors to this website
This website has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics or advertising, and we do not collect personal information from visitors. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.
Viewers of our videos
When you watch or interact with our videos on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, those platforms process your data under their own privacy policies. We only see aggregated, anonymous statistics that the platforms provide to creators (for example view counts and average watch time).
The Ifographic publisher and Google user data
The Ifographic publisher is used only by the channel owner to manage the Ifographic channel. It uses YouTube API Services. With the channel owner's permission (granted through Google sign-in), it:
- uploads our videos and sets their title, description, tags, privacy status, scheduled publish time and AI-content disclosure (scope
youtube.upload); - reads the list of our own uploaded videos to avoid duplicate uploads (scope
youtube.readonly); - reads our channel's own performance statistics (scope
yt-analytics.readonly).
It does not access any other user's data, does not read comments or messages, and does not show any user data to third parties.
Storage. The access permission (OAuth refresh token) is stored only on the channel owner's computer, in the operating system's protected keychain. Video statistics are stored in a local database on that computer. Nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone.
Limited use. The Ifographic publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube. By using the Ifographic publisher, its user also agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time at Google Account › Third-party apps & services. Revoking it stops all uploads; the locally stored token can also be deleted from the keychain.
Retention and deletion. Local statistics are kept for as long as they are useful for improving our videos and are deleted on request or when no longer needed.
Other platforms
If we connect the publisher to TikTok or Instagram for our own accounts, the same principles apply: only our own accounts, only the permissions needed to publish our videos and read their statistics, stored locally, never shared.
Children
Our videos are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
